Edward D. Wood Jr.'s ambitious television pilot has been lost for 55 years. It was recently discovered and makes its debut at Slamdance. Wood claimed that Bela Lugosi died while reading the script which adds a surreal quality to this lost treasure. Final Curtain weaves a tale of a weary actor prowling a darkened theater at night searching anxiously for meaning. His journey leads him to a surprising destiny that leaves the audience stunned!

Dudley Manlove's voice- over kept it uber punchy and fun. Timewarped was a funny opening pilot. Both films complimented each other: Final Curtain is emblematic of pre-irony unintentional comedy and Trey Parker and company's Timewarped is satirical brilliance. Nice work Slamdance on creative curating a super smart and FUNNY special screening.
